The dawning of our next life adventure

YES, I have now caught a glimpse of our next adventure - life in Canada!
Got our visas - WOOHOOOO! The 3Ms - Megh, Mila & Milind - leapt with joy this morning! Grateful for this blessing, now breathing in and breathing out!
While the excitement has subsided by now, as I meander back into the flow of living, I am reminded of the restlessness I felt a few days back and my Mom's remarks that it will come at the perfect time. So it did. Am also reminded of my first visit to Vancouver back in 1981, when I said to myself "I love the energy of this place and wouldn't mind to live here one day".
And so, on with the preparations...
Have informed my families in Seattle & Manila and elsewhere and called up friends.
Delighted to share these with you at this very moment.

This is very exciting, Mila! Sounds like an incredible adventure and one that you’re really looking forward to…
We’ll still be sort of far away, but….a 5-hour flight is nothing compared to a 20-hour one, right?

Mila, how heart-leaping! What lovely news to hear today, so glad you got your VISAs. It will be fun to have you a bit closer cuz maybe someday we’ll get to meet you. So awesome….
Mila, this is going to be such a marvelous adventure. You’re coming to the west in such a different way than I did–with anticipation; where I came, just waiting to go back. I loved it here too–but only as a holiday!
Now I love living here; because of family, clean air, space. I can see the three M’s loving it too! Of course, I’m way down south from you; but….closer longitude!

Mila I am so excited for you AND you are going to be in my neighbourhood!!!! Well almost - just a ferry ride away. I come to Vancouver often for family, and work. So I am looking to the opportunity to meet in person. Congratulations!!!

We will def meet one day (I hope:)as Vanc is a direct link to Whitehorse & is a staging ground for us as well as Edmonchuk (Edmonton) or Cowtown (Calgary)….
