A glimpse of Nepali cinema: Sano Sansar

At Samme's request at my grapevine, here's a trailer of the film that I just watched the premier of a while ago. It starred as lead actor Megh's nephew, pseudonym Karma, as Ravi. I was actually surprised that the trailer is at youtube. The gist of the plot is mentioned in the trailer's description. I have a feeling they'll make one with English subtitles soon so I wouldn't tell the entire story. It's a poignant love story and I find it excellent in all aspects - story, direction, cinematography, direction, acting and casting, editing, music. This is a first of its kind and a directorial debut for Alok Nembang.

Oh my this is excellent Mila. Thank you for posting this blog and the video trailer too. This is my mantra now, “I will not doubt I will find it on Youtube, I will not be surprised what I will find on Youtube”. LOL
Is that one guy in the movie, is his character gay? I would like to see this film and I always find hard to get stuff so it is just a matter of time.
we are universal,

Boy this looks like fun! Such beautiful people! I'd love to see it, definitely!
Aren't they beautiful? Looking at them I said to myself, “I look like them”. Indeed, we are all one.
I am putting this on my list of movies to watch for! Loved the trailer.
Hope this won't get poofed again!
Samme, yeh the question to ask is what couldn't you find in youtube - LOL! No, there wasn't any gay character in the film but there was a scene when Ravi got chased by a gay dressed as a woman in the streets. You're indeed as beautiful as the film's characters!
Sherri and Jami, hope the version with English subtitles get produced soon!
