Peace at last? No, just the opening of a path toward it

Today I was exhilirated over the news that the alliance of seven political parties of Nepal and the Maoists, who led a 9-year long insurgency that had killed 12,500, reached a peace agreement. I know that it's not yet real peace but at least, a path has been opened to start pursuing the process towards building peace and rebuilding a new Nepal. I am filled with hope for the country's future.

The officials in office have not shown impeccable leadership. We will see with the new administration if they can bring us peace and stability.
