About Me:
Welcome to my Gaia oasis! Thank you for fluttering by.
Privileged to join the gaia zaadz social revolution, growing together with you all in self-awareness and love and co-creating higher consciousness.
How do I describe myself? Though words might be rather limiting, still let me try.
….adventurer (aren't we all?), global citizen, travel enthusiast, idealist, dreamer, a yoga practitioner, a wife and homemaker, a mother, a cancer survivor, a social and business entrepreneur, a changemaker… Yes, these sums up what I feel as myself for now.
I embrace change whenever and as often as it happens in my life. Have been an avid traveler since 1977 which I believe has deeply enriched my life. Born in the Philippines, lived in the Gambia (Africa) for two years, in Kathmandu for about 25 years, and just recently relocated to Vancouver B.C., Canada.
Living with my husband Megh and our son Milind. Am running my social and business enterprise Phelge Nepal to promote, along ethical principles, fine quality crafts of Nepal using natural materials, hand processing skills passed down through generations, and clean technologies. Stream of Life
Rabindranath Tagore
The same stream of life that runs
through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances
in rhythmic measures.
It is the same life that shoots in joy
through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves
of leaves and flowers.
It is the same life that is rocked in
the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.
I feel my limbs are made glorious
by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages
dancing in my blood this moment.
special talent to give to others. And when we blend
this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit,
which is the ultimate goal of goals.
~ Deepak Chopra in “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success”

Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.
~ Lao Tzu

Suddenly I awoke…
Now, I do not know whether I was then a man
dreaming I was a butterfly,
or whether I am now a butterfly
dreaming that I am a man.
Chuang Tzu
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and beheld that service was joy.
Rabindranath Tagore
I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move;
to feel the needs and hitches of our life more nearly;
to come down off this featherbed of civilization,
and find the globe granite underfoot
and strewn with cutting flints.
Robert Louis Stevenson
Walt Whitman
so many wonderful gifts.
Rumi
You always lose by holding back.
Barbara De Angelis

Happy Feet, the film
to understand what is happening outside,
because everything happens inside us instead.
Paolo Coelho

and as long as I hear the music
my dreams will have to die another day.
Janis Joplin
Boldness has genius, power and magic.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Helen Keller

It is a sort of splendid torch
which I am permitted to hold for the moment,
and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible
before handing it on to future generations.
George Bernard Shaw
the rudder and the sails of your seafaring soul.
Reason ruling alone, is a force confining;
and passion unattended, is a flame
that burns to its own destruction!
Since you are a breath in God's sphere,
and a leaf in God's forest,
you too should rest in reason
and move in passion.
Khalil Gibran
Aristide Briand
a world possibly not born until they arrive, and
it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

My Tarot Card: You are The Lovers

The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration.
Very often a choice needs to be made.
Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than “Lovers.” Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective.
LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist.
This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.
What Tarot Card are You?

Like a speeding horse, Wood Horses run towards their destination and always face life with excitement and challenge. Horses are symbolic of grace, strength, balance and dignity. Wood horses are very intelligent and good-natured people.

ON MARRIAGE
Grouse is a wonderful little bird who does the spiral dance. Natives called it the Sacred Spiral, and it is a dancing meditation for the Native people.
Grouse wants to show you your dance and the sacred connection between all things. Walking or dancing will put you back in touch with Mother Earth and your body.
Grouse may then teach you how to notice the energy flows that put you in harmony and balance with body, mind, and spirit. She is calling you to dance your way through this situation and see the connectedness of everything.
ON PARENTING
Fox medicine has the gift of camouflage. Fox can blend into the woodlands and meld into his surroundings in a beautiful way. He can observe others' activities unnoticed, which is a powerful gift. Fox is the protector of his family unit. If danger arises, he is johnny-on-the-spot. He keeps the family together and safe. If fox has chosen to share his medicine with you, it is a sign that you are to become like the wind, which is unseen yet is able to weave into and through any location or situation. You are wise at this time to observe the acts of others instead of their words. Use your cunning nature in a positive way; keep silent about what and who and why you are observing.
ON BUSINESS
Mouse is a sweet little thing that will help you with details and organization. Every detail carries weight, and when you look only at the end result, you cannot take your project one step at a time. Mouse will help you see the steps. Take little nibbles consistently and your work will be complete!
