How do I describe myself? Though words might be rather limiting, still let me try.

 ….adventurer (aren't we all?), global citizen, travel enthusiast, idealist, dreamer, a yoga practitioner, a wife and homemaker, a mother, a cancer survivor, a social and business entrepreneur, a changemaker…  Yes, these sums up what I feel as myself for now.

I embrace change whenever and as often as it happens in my life. Have been an avid traveler since 1977 which I believe has deeply enriched my life. Born in the Philippines, lived in the Gambia (Africa) for two years, in Kathmandu for about 25 years, and just recently relocated to Vancouver B.C., Canada.

Living with my husband Megh and our son Milind. Am running my social and business enterprise Phelge Nepal to promote, along ethical principles, fine quality crafts of Nepal using natural materials, hand processing skills passed down through generations, and clean technologies. The same stream of life that runs
through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances
in rhythmic measures.

It is the same life that shoots in joy
through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves
of leaves and flowers.

It is the same life that is rocked in
the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.

I feel my limbs are made glorious
by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages
dancing in my blood this moment.
